Last night, Malaysia's Astro On Demand (AOD) held their AOD MY FAVORITE AWARDS 2012, TVB Siu Sangs and FaDans including Wayne Lai, Myolie Wu, Kevin Cheng, Raymond Lam, Moses Chan, Tavia Yeung, Michael Tse, Kate Tsui, Roger Kwok, Ron Ng, Nancy Wu, Him Law, Mandy Wong, Oscar Leung and Koo Ming Wa attended. The biggest winners of the night were Kenneth Ma and Tavia Yeung, each with 2.5 awards; The Hippocratic Crush won a total of 5 awards. When the TV Queen award was announced, Tavia emotionally exclaimed on stage: "I finally got it! Each and every step I took to get on this stage wereheavy ones, it took me 13 years!" Tavia expressed there are a lot of people she has to thank, then everyone screamed asking her thank rumored boyfriend Him Law. Tavia joked: "This one I don't have to thank yet." But she asked her TVB Artistes Training Class classmate, Raymond Lam, to go on stage and share the happiness with her. Raymond joked: "Is there someone else that hasn't been called yet?" Tavia immediately pretended to be mad and bopped him with the microphone.

The popular couple from The Hippocratic Crush, Kenneth and Tavia, were finally recognized from the "My Favorite On-Screen Couple" award. Initially, AOD expressed Kenneth won't be able to attend the award presentation because he'll be in Taiwan shooting Triumph in the Skies II, however, when the 'on-screen couple' award was announced, he suddenly appeared and surprised everyone. Initially Tavia was on stage alone accepting the award, but Kenneth rushed on stage to accept the award with her and almost tripped too! Tavia was very surprised herself. Kenneth said: "Where there is 'Yu Jai', there must be 'Yat Kin Tau', then its perfect!"

Also, Kenneth was later crowned TV King. When he got on stage for the acceptance speech, he was stunned for a moment, then said: "Taking this award before so many TV King candidates, I really feel a lot of pressure. This is the most heavyweight award I have received since my debut."

Him Law won 'My Favorite TV Supporting Actor' based on his role 'Onion' in The Hippocratic Crush. Him was sobbing during his acceptance speech: "I took on this role during a period of unhappiness. This series didn't just give me the character Onion, but also gave me something most important to me in life." Under pressure from the crowd, Him added: "Thank you Tavia Yeung!" It was very touching moment indeed! In the series, 'Onion' was unsuccessful in pursuing 'Yu Jai' (Tavia), but in reality, love actually sparked...and this character got him an award too, thus it must be a very memorable moment in Him's life.

Nancy was the winner of 'My Favorite TV Supporting Actress' depending on her deaf and mute role 'Ting Yan Chi' in Gloves Come Off. She said gratefully: "I really like Astro's awards because my name is already engraved on it. I entered the industry 10 years ago and I was once unsure how I could make another breakthrough for myself. I am very happy that audience like the first mute/deaf female boxer role."

Koo Ming Wa won the "My Favorite TV Most Promising Artist". The 48 year old has been acting in HK TVB for 30 years and finally gained recognition from his 'So Gay' role. He said: "To many people, getting award can be very difficult, but to me, even having the opportunity to attend an [award ceremony] is difficult. I promise I will do even better for everyone to see!"

Mandy Wong and Oscar Leung are the winners of 'My Favorite TV Most Improved Actress and Actor" based on their L'Escargot roles Kwan Yee So and Kwan Yee Gor. Mandy expressed emotionally: "This is my first award in my acting career and this award gave me tremendous amount of encouragement!" Likewise, her partner Oscar said: "This is also my first award in my over 10 year acting career. I've dreamed of getting an award before, but this time I'm afraid this is all a dream and not reality. But I finally fulfilled my dream!" Oscar had tears forming in his eyes.

Kate Tsui was dressed in a sexy dress, showing off her 3-inch career line, when she was presented with the 'My Favorite TV Character' award for her role Chan Ka Bik in Highs and Lows, she invited her partner Raymond Lam on stage and emotionally expressed: "Thank you Raymond for all your support. At first, I thought the theme of this series would be difficult for audience to accept." When it was Raymond's turn to accept his Favorite Character award, he returned Kate's compliment, "This year you are the Nice-est lead actress."

AOD presented the '5th Anniversary - My Favorite Classic Character Award' to "Laughing Gor" Michael Tse. On stage, he said emotionally: "I am honored to have encountered such an amazing character. This award is very meaningful to me. 'Laughing' has now become my second name."

Rebecca Zhu Would Choose a Boyfriend Like Kenneth Ma

Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles is Miss HK 2011 Rebecca Zhu's debut TVB series and her co-star Kenneth Ma already playing jokes on her, giving her a very mushy nickname "Morning Zhu". However, the two mutually complimented each other.

In the series, Rebecca stars alongside Kenneth Ma and Ron Ng, making the ones next door envy to death! Rebecca praised the both of them. She laughed and said, if the strengths of Kenneth and Ron were added together, it would be perfect. "They are both tall and handsome, any girl would like them!" If Rebecca had to choose between the two, she would have a hard time: "They are both equally good. Also, Kenneth is right next to me now, so if I don't choose him, he might get upset!" Kenneth joked: "Well that is pretty difficult to choose because I'm sitting right next to you, otherwise you can have my shell!"

Mistaken for "Fala Chen"

It turns out before their collaboration, Kenneth had no clue who Rebecca Zhu was, he said: "Honestly, I didn't have much of an impression on her. I just knew she was the Miss HK winner. I only found out how she looked like on the first day of SSSS shooting." Rebecca exposed on the first day of work, Kenneth called her by the wrong name: "That day, he thought I was someone else, but I won't tell you who he thought I was!" Kenneth interrupted: "Really? I really don't remember, did I call you Fala Chen? Haha!"

The two got know each other more after filming this series together, Kenneth played a joke on Rebecca and gave her a nickname. He laughed: "We called her 'Morning Beautiful Zhu', but later we just called her 'Morning Zhu'. Many people get famous off of nicknames!" However, Rebecca Zhu is still a new name that not many can recognize, she said: "At first, I really wasn't used to that nickname. I actually thought it was really strange, but I can't do anything about it, if he wants to call me that."

During the interview, the two would always be flirting. When asked if acting turned into real feelings? Kenneth said: "When we were shooting the series, there really was some 'electricity', Siu Yau (Rebecca's role) can easily attract people. Anyone would want to protect her."

Kenneth Ma Full of Regret? Wants Nancy Wu Back?

Is Kenneth Ma (馬國明) only interested in women he cannot have? After revealing that he had unfulfilled crushes on costars, Sharon Chan (陳敏之) and Selena Li (李詩韻), in the past, Kenneth may once again be setting himself up for disappointment by wanting to get back with ex-girlfriend, Nancy Wu (胡定欣), who is currently not single.

Nancy’s new romance with advertising executive, Patt Sham (沈栢淳), is widely reported, but this apparently did not stop Kenneth’s wish to patch things up with Nancy. After breaking up last year, Nancy was reported to have been unable to let go of her love for Kenneth, continuing to live in his neighborhood with hopes to continue seeing him. Now that Nancy has finally found new love, did this spark Kenneth to act before it is too late?

Kenneth Drapes Himself Over Nancy

Oriental Sunday reported that while filming Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄2> in Paris, Kenneth plastered himself by Nancy’s side. An insider revealed, “Nancy often clung to Kenneth in the past. At the time, Kenneth did not wish to reconcile, but it is now his turn to be unwilling to let go. Wherever Nancy goes, Kenneth is by her side during meals and after filming hours. Whenever she makes a call, he will stare at her intently.”

Kenneth was photographed leaning his head close to Nancy while dining together in Paris. The entire cast and crew allegedly knew of Kenneth’s motives towards Nancy, especially during the filming of Nancy and Him Law’s (羅仲謙) wedding scene on November 16. Him Law reportedly said, “Nancy, you are getting married with me; why is Kenneth by your side?”

Accused of laughing sweetly and thoroughly enjoying Kenneth’s company while in Paris, will Nancy go back to her ex-flame or will Kenneth’s wishes remain unfulfilled once again?

Kenneth Ma Insists there was Interaction with Nancy Wu and No Awkwardness

TVB's 45th anniversary is on November 19th, last night many Siu Sang and FaDans such as Kenneth Ma, Nancy Wu, Mandy Wong, Oscar Leung, Toby Chan, Evergreen Mak, Lee Yee Man and rumored couple Katy Kung and Jack Hui were shooting an anniversary special on the busy street of Causeway Bay. At 8:30pm, the group gathered near the hotel and then marched into the pedestrian-only section of the street, where nearly a hundred citizens were surrounded them. Former couple Kenneth Ma and Nancy Wu held TVBuddy's hands and got the front positions. However, the two had zero interaction. Then they continued shooting with Oscar and Mandy Wong. Kenneth stood by Mandy the entire time and chatted with her. About half an hour later, the group got into a decorated car and drove to Mongkok for more filming. Katy expressed she does not feel awkward filming with Jack.

Yesterday Kenneth accepted an interview over the phone and denied treating ex-girlfriend Nancy as if she was invisible. He said: "We did interact, we've been fine all along and there is no awkwardness. I interacted with everybody." As for standing in the front position? Kenneth said: "Actually, we were split into several groups for the shoot. We were just one of the groups, but must thank TVB." He also said because he has to leave HK to shoot a series (TITS2), he won't be around during TVB's anniversary and so he's shooting the special now.

"The Hippocratic Crush II" Filming Sales Presentation

Kenneth Ma attended the Sales Presentation of "The Hippocratic Crush II". He expressed that he will continue his character from the first installment, as well as his married life with Tavia Yeung. He revealed that this installment would be adding the love triangle of Eliza Sam, Him Law, and Candy Chang. When Kenneth was asked whether he had confidence in this year's public voting for TV king, he said, "Using this system for the first year, anything can happen. (Would you be worried about Raymond Lam being a formidable opponent because he has many fans?) Not particularly afraid. It's just that the rules of the game are different. We will follow the company's arrangements". Kenneth also said that he would not call his relatives to tell them to vote because the feeling is very disgusting...taking everything as it comes.
