Artistes Kenneth Ma and JJ Jia did a recording for a special program for "Tiger Cubs". Kenneth revealed having had rumours with JJ Jia before; however, no one reported on it. After hearing this, JJ laughingly said that [the rumours] could now be spread anew...treat it as promotion for the series; however, after the series is finished airing, request for everyone to not mention it again. Asked whether [she] disliked Kenneth, JJ immediately denied and highly praised him as being the city's biggest hot property.
Kenneth and JJ Jia had rumors before when they were shooting this series. That night, JJ exposed Kenneth saw her ugly "pizza face" look in the series and still comforted her by calling her a pretty girl. She felt very happy when she heard this. Kenneth was teased that he should start pursuing JJ, who had just fallen out of love. JJ laughed: "You all should just write it like that, but after the series ends, don't mention it again." Kenneth joked that JJ really knows how to make use of the media for promotions. When JJ heard this, she was frightened and quickly denied. When asked if she dislikes Kenneth? She said: "No, I can't match him, he's the biggest 'seun poon' in the city."
Also, Kenneth was on a radio interview and clarified the rumors with his co-star Myolie Wu from new series Seasons of Love. He praised Myolie's professionalism and that her emotions has not affected her acting, so there is no need to comfort her. When asked if its finally a dream come true for him, that he has rumors? Kenneth said: "The rumors are nothing unusual. I saw the pictures on the magazine, its all just from the series. Myolie and I were looking through the magazine, she didn't care about the content, just if the pictures look good or not. I said they're all pictures from the series, of course it all looks good, no need to worry. There are many Bosco Wong and Myolie fans wanting the two to get back together and I'm sure the media is just worried about them, I don't dare to get in between them. I'm afraid the next rumor will say Myolie broke up with Bosco because of me and I'll become a sinner. It's too dangerous to comment too much now. Our rumor has been going on for a few days, time will prove everything." He also exposed after 8 years, he finally gets to 'date' Myolie in the new series. Although Kenneth is known as the 'seun poon' #2, he sighed he still doesn't have anyone he's interested in.
